Walk to the edge of Place du Souvenir Africain. Find a spot on the cliff where you can see the ocean and the Henry Bathily Museum.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light starts about 30 minutes before, but the main event is the sun disappearing below the horizon.

Walk north to Baie de Mermoz. It is a short walk from the plaza and a good place to stretch your legs after watching the sky change.
Local tip
Foodly is just a two-minute walk from the plaza. If you prefer a different vibe, Billy's is also very close and open until midnight.
