Take the cable car up to Ba Na Hill Station. The 550,000 dong ticket covers the ride and Fantasy Park access. Note that you must take a taxi to Suoi Mo Station first, which costs about US$25 one-way from Da Nang.

Wander the French colonial villas and forest paths. The high altitude and temperate climate offer a cool escape. Use the hour before the sun dips to find your preferred vantage point.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light begins at 17:04, leading into the sunset at 17:35. The views over the South China Sea and the Lao mountains are the highlight of the visit.

Head back down. The cable car ride back to Suoi Mo Station is included in your ticket. Arrange your taxi return to Da Nang from Suoi Mo Station.
Local tip
The cable car is the only way up. Plan your taxi to Suoi Mo Station well in advance if you are coming from central Da Nang.
