Timeline
16:50
Grab a chemex coffee at Organika Bakery y Cafe. The bright, modern space is a calm start before the crowds gather. The café is open from 07:00, so you have plenty of time.
17:20
Walk to the Cusco Cathedral. Enter through the main doors and find a spot near the front windows or in the nave. The cathedral is open until 20:00. If you arrived earlier, you could have entered free during mass, but at this hour the S/25 tourist fee applies. The western-facing architecture catches the last direct sunlight.
18:05
Finish your evening at Paddy's Irish Pub. It is just a one-minute walk from the cathedral. The cozy upstairs setting offers a break from the tourist rush, with an atmosphere built for fellow travelers. It stays open until 01:00, so you can linger over a drink.
Local tip
The sun sets toward the WNW in July, meaning the light hits the cathedral facade and interior directly in the late afternoon. Check the route if you need specific directions from the café to the cathedral, as none are provided in the local guide.
