Grab a chemex or French press coffee at Organika Bakery y Cafe. The space is modern and bright, a nice change from the traditional markets, and it opens right when you do.

Walk five minutes to Mercado San Pedro. Browse the stalls for genuine local colour and pick up a snack or fresh juice. It is the largest market close to the center and still feels authentic compared to Plaza de Armas.

Head to the Planetarium Cusco viewpoint. It is a short walk from the market area and offers a clear, elevated perspective of the city and the surrounding Andes without the crowds of the main square.
Local tip
Check the route to Mercado San Pedro from Organika Bakery y Cafe if you want the most direct path. The market is open until 18:00 on weekdays and 16:00 on Sundays.
