    Museum of Jurassic Technology

Wander through the Museum of Jurassic Technology. The exhibits blend fact and fiction in a way that is hard to distinguish, featuring micro-sculptures and strange practices. It is best not to try to separate the two.

    Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook

Drive up to the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. This spot sits over three hundred feet above the surrounding neighborhoods, providing tremendous views of the LA basin. Arrive here to catch the golden light starting around 18:51 and the sunset at 19:25, with the sun setting toward the WNW.

  3. 19:55

    Vespertine

Head to Vespertine for dinner. This experimental restaurant aims to surprise visitors with a truly unique experience. It was named one of Time Magazine's "100 Greatest Places" in 2018 and given two stars by the Michelin Guide in 2020. The price range is $75-150.

Local tip

The walk from the museum to the overlook is too long to do on foot. You will need to drive or take a taxi/rideshare. Check the route if you are using public transport.
