Visit Go Divers early. The shop opens at 8:30 AM, so arriving now lets you see the gear and meet the trilingual staff before the boat trips begin. It is a calm way to start the day.

Grab a drink at Thirsty Cougar. This downtown bar is just a short walk from the diving center. Order a big margarita or a cold beer and sit at the sidewalk tables to watch the harbor life.
19:00
Walk to Parque Quintana Roo to watch the sun set. The park is located to the west-southwest of your current position, offering a clear view of the sun dipping below the horizon toward the WNW. The golden light hits the trees and the water just before the sun disappears.
19:30
End the evening at Cerveceria Punta Sur. This small craft brewery is nearby and open late. Try one of their house beers, ranging from light cream ales to balanced IPAs, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Local tip
Go Divers opens at 8:30 AM. Thirsty Cougar is open from 09:00, so you can arrive right when it opens for your drink. Cerveceria Punta Sur is open until 23:00, giving you plenty of time to stay after sunset.
