Pick up a large ice cream at the well-known spot near Øresund. The queues are long in summer, so arrive early to grab a treat and find a seat.
20:00
Walk to the restaurant in Hellerup Sailing Club. Non-members are welcome to sit at the tables. Order a drink and watch the sky turn orange over the water.
20:30
Stroll down to the beach with the 130-metre pier. The sun is dipping below the horizon, casting a final glow on the water.
Local tip
The ice cream shop is open from March to September. The sailing club is open for dinner from 17:30 to 21:30 in the summer. Check the route if you need to get back to the city after.
