Timeline

  1. 11:00

    Kastrupgårdsamlingen

Walk into the Kastrupgårdsamlingen as it opens. The museum is free and displays a large collection of graphics from Danish artists, including Cobra works. Arriving at opening time helps you avoid the midday rush in the small exhibition spaces.

  2. 12:00

    Kringlevrideren

Walk eight minutes to Kringlevrideren for a pastry. This bakery is open from 06:00 to 16:00, so you have time to grab a kringla or sweet bread before it closes for the afternoon.

  3. 12:15

    Vægterparken

Stroll 13 minutes to Vægterparken. This small park is close enough to enjoy the late afternoon light while digesting your snack. It offers a quiet green space just north of the museum grounds.

Check the museum hours before you go. Kastrupgårdsamlingen is open Tuesday to Friday from 13:00 to 17:00, with extended hours until 20:00 on Wednesdays. If you visit on a Wednesday, you have more flexibility with your timing.
