Walk to Galle Face Green Promenade. This half-kilometer stretch between Galle Road and the ocean is the best spot in Colombo for sundown. The atmosphere fills with kite flyers and merrymakers as the light turns golden.

End the evening at Lakpahana. This craft shop offers unique metalware, wood carvings, and silver jewellery. It is a quiet place to reflect on the day and perhaps pick up a souvenir.
