Timeline
17:50
Grab ice cream and coffee at Globos. They are open until midnight, so you have plenty of time to enjoy a scoop or a cup before heading out.
18:35
Walk to the Mediateca Alianza Francesa. Use the 10-minute walk to Plazuela Potosí (NNW direction) to stretch your legs and pass through the plaza named after the Department of Potosí.
19:05
Head to Parque Mariscal Santa Cruz. From the anchor, it is a 47-minute walk SW. This small park offers a view of the sun setting toward the WSW, casting golden light over the amusement rides and concrete caricatures.
19:50
End the night with dinner at La Estancia. This upscale Argentinian steak house is open until 22:00 on weekdays and 22:00 on Saturdays. The salad bar is known to be amazing, and the portions are a more standard size.
Local tip
The walk from the Mediateca to the park is long (47 minutes). If you prefer a shorter stroll, consider ending at Plazuela Potosí (10 minutes NW from anchor) instead of the park, though the sunset view is best at the park.
