Grab a coffee at Hoy Hay Café. It is a specialty coffee shop and store for artisanal edible products made in Bolivia. The hours are 08:00 to 22:00 daily, so it is open and quiet in the mid-afternoon.

Walk five minutes southwest to Parque Queru Queru. This park was part of the Wittlich-Panemberg family estate. It offers a quiet space to rest and see the greenery of the area away from the main square.

Head back toward the center to La Estancia for dinner. This upscale Argentinian steak house is known for its pleasant atmosphere. Note that for lunch service it closes at 15:00, so you will arrive for the evening service starting at 18:00. If you prefer lunch, visit earlier, but the evening slot ensures full service.
Local tip
La Estancia serves normal-sized portions compared to typical Cochabamba standards. The chicken breast fillet is about Bs. 35 and steak is Bs. 45-50.
