Arrive at the observation tower before the light changes. The tower looks out over Goose Creek towards the Churchill River, offering a clear view of the horizon. It is a nice spot for a picnic in the summer, so bring a blanket or chair if you wish.

Watch the golden light begin at 21:04. The sun sets toward the NW, painting the sky and the water in warm hues. This is the perfect moment to take in the view before the evening chill sets in.

Head back to town. Check the route for getting back to the main road and into Churchill proper to find breakfast or coffee once places open.
Local tip
It is only really worthwhile to come down this way if you rent a car. The tower is south of the city following the right turn off the main road.
