Walk six minutes NNW to Ferrymead Regional Park. This is the right spot to watch the sun dip below the horizon toward the WNW. The park is adjacent to the heritage park and offers open views.

End the night with teppanyaki at @Tony's. It is a 16-minute walk from the park. The all-you-can-eat deals are a great way to cap off the evening, and they are open until 21:00 on weekdays or 01:00 on weekends.
Local tip
The park is open daily. Check the route for the Purple bus if you are coming from the city center.
