    360 Chicago

Head up to the 94th floor of 360 Chicago. The 360-degree views are sharper than the Skydeck, and in January, you might catch the ice-skating rink below. Arrive just before the sun dips, so you have time to find your spot and watch the city transition from day to night.

  2. 17:14

    Dao Thai

Walk down to Dao Thai for dinner. It is a spacious, beautiful dining room serving filling Thai food with plenty of flavor. The cooks are focused even if the service gets a bit distracted, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal after your high-altitude view.

  3. 18:14

    Second Story Bar

Find the pink-lettered sign up on the second floor for Second Story Bar. It is a gay bar that leans more toward fun than sleazy, offering a dive-thrill atmosphere. It is a great place to stay and chat as the evening settles in.
