    La Cantina Grill

Grab a quick bite at La Cantina Grill. The unpretentious Mexican cuisine and live music on Friday nights make it a lively start, but on a winter afternoon it is simply a warm, welcoming place to eat before the chill sets in.

    The Glessner House Museum

Walk to The Glessner House Museum. Arrive in time to catch the 3PM tour if you wish, or simply explore the restored 1887 Arts & Crafts mansion. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Gilded Age atmosphere.

    Northerly Island Park

Head to Northerly Island Park. This 40-acre park offers an excellent view of the Chicago skyline. As the sun sets toward the WSW, the golden light illuminates the cityscape from this southern vantage point, providing a serene backdrop to the day's end.
