    Museo nacional de Chavín

Walk straight into the Museo nacional de Chavín. Arriving at 09:00 means you get the quietest experience of the day before the tour groups arrive. Take your time with the Tello obelisk and the carved stone heads.

  2. 10:30

    Restaurant Buongiorno

Take the 7-minute walk up to Restaurant Buongiorno. Order a traditional dish like trout ceviche or papakashki (potato soup). The indoor garden offers a nice view of the site while you eat.

    Laguna De Querococha

Spend the rest of your afternoon at Laguna De Querococha. It is a 21-minute walk from the museum, so factor that into your timing. Enjoy the fresh air and the natural setting of the nature reserve.
