Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Dress warmly, as it is significantly cooler up there than at the bottom. Enjoy the panoramic views as the sun begins to set toward the WSW.

Cable Car to the top of Table Mountain
Descend via the cable car. Note that the last car down varies by season, so check the schedule to ensure you catch it in time.

Walk to Africa Café in Bo-Kaap for dinner. This is an affordable regional restaurant serving a fixed menu of 12-15 different African dishes. It is open until 23:00.
21:00
Finish the evening at Zanzi-Bar. This is a popular spot for travelers, featuring live jazz on Sundays or DJs on Friday and Saturday nights. It is open until 02:00.
Local tip
The weather at the top of the mountain is different from the city. Always carry a warm layer and water, even if it is hot at the bottom.

- Cable car hours: 07:00-22:00 (usually 08:30). Last car down is 21:30 in high season and 18:00 in mid winter.
- Africa Café is open Mo-Sa 18:00-23:00.
- Zanzi-Bar is open 17:00-02:00.
