Head north-northwest for 28 minutes to Fuller Gardens. Spend the rest of your afternoon wandering through the greenery, enjoying the calm atmosphere away from the main roads.
Local tip
Newlands is a residential area, so keep noise down in the gardens. Check opening hours for Cavendish Square if you plan to visit on a Sunday, as they differ from weekdays.
