Arrive at the resort. The course opens at 07:00, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the main event. If you have a tee time, this is when you play. If not, stroll the fairways and find a comfortable spot with a view of the west.

Order a drink. The resort offers good food and drink with friendly service. Grab a cold beverage and position yourself where the western light is hitting the course.

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW at 18:26. The golden light starts about 17:54, so you will have about ten minutes of warm, soft light before the sun dips below the horizon.

Stay for dinner. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Since the resort is open until 19:00, you can enjoy an evening meal right there before heading back.
Local tip
The greens can be tricky, so if you play, expect to lose balls in the swampy rough. The price is cheaper if you arrive before 13:00, but for an evening visit, the standard rate applies.
