Timeline

  1. 17:11

    Surfin' Burrito

Grab a Coco Loco or shrimp tacos at Surfin' Burrito. The coconut rum drink is a local favorite and the food is ready fast. It is open well before the sun goes down.

  2. 18:01

    Pok Ta Pok

Walk from the bar to Pok Ta Pok. This natural golf course offers an open view toward the WSW, where the sun is setting. The older equipment and unmaintained grass give it a rugged charm. Arrive here to set up your spot before the light fades.

  3. 18:26

    Pok Ta Pok

Watch the sun dip below the horizon. The light turns gold and then blue. The open space of the golf course lets you see the full arc of the sunset without obstruction.

  4. 19:11

    La Palapa Belga

Head to La Palapa Belga for dinner. It is a short walk from the golf course. The Belgian and French seafood menu is perfect for a late evening meal. The restaurant is open until 23:00, so you have plenty of time to eat and enjoy the ambiance.

Local tip
