Walk to The Family of Man. The ten 6.5 metre tall figures stand in a circle, originally from Expo '67. Arrive early to find a quiet corner and watch the shadows lengthen across the concrete.

The sun sets toward the WSW. The low golden light hits the figures from the side, creating a dramatic contrast between the warm sky and the grey stone. Stay for the last few minutes of daylight.

End the walk at Prince's Island Park. It is a pleasant 17-minute walk NNW from the landmark. Relax on the trails as the city lights begin to turn on, far from the noise of Stampede Park.
