Best time: noneAbout 120 min

Timeline

  1. 12:30

    Angel's Drive In

Grab a burger combo or milkshake at Angel's Drive In. It is a classic 1950s diner that serves donairs and sandwiches. This is a good spot to fuel up before heading to the park.

  2. 13:15

    Bowness Park

Walk over to Bowness Park. The park is open from early morning until late evening. Stroll down to the southern edge where the shallow lagoon runs along the Bow River. It is a popular spot for picnicking and enjoying the river views.

  3. 14:00

    Bowness Park

Find a quiet bench or a patch of grass near the lagoon to rest. If the weather is warm, you can watch people paddle boat. If it is colder, the area is often used for ice skating in the winter, but in summer it is just a peaceful place to sit by the water.
