Start with a hearty breakfast at Blackfoot Truckstop Diner. It has been serving locals since 1956 and is open early enough to fuel up before your walk.

  2. 08:40

    Pearce Estate Park

Walk seven minutes to Pearce Estate Park. Stroll along the Bow River bend to see the reconstructed wetland and the Bow Habitat Visitor Centre before heading to the main event.

  3. 09:00

    Harvie Passage

Arrive at Harvie Passage. Watch the Class II and III white water rapids. Note that this area is for experienced canoe and kayak paddlers only; everyone else must portage around it.

Local tip

Check the route if you need to get from the diner to the park. The passage is a serious whitewater feature, so keep a safe distance from the edge.
