Timeline
16:37
Grab a regional sweet and a coffee at Pastelaria Baía. The 'King of Cavacas' is a must-try. Sit outside on the plaza by the thermal hospital to watch the city wake up for the evening.
17:02
Walk to the disused grain silos that now house the SILOS Contentor Criativo. Wander through the galleries and ateliers to see the artists' creations before the light fades. The space is open until 20:00, so you have plenty of time.
17:37
Head to the Museu José Malhoa in Parque Dom Carlos I. Position yourself in the park to catch the sun setting toward the WSW. The museum grounds offer a quiet, shaded spot to witness the golden light turning the sky.
18:07
End the night with a drink at Daiquiri Bar. It is a popular nightlife joint on Praça 5 de Outubro with an outdoor esplanade where you can relax after the sunset.
Local tip
