Grab a Borsodi beer and a light bite at Aranyhíd Étterem Pub. It is a short 13 minute walk from the summit, so you can enjoy a drink while the afternoon light is still good, before heading back up or staying for the view.

Sas-hegyi (Eagle Mountain) Visitor Center
Return to the Sas-hegyi Visitor Center area. The Royal Eagle Mountain Nature Reserve offers open views toward the WSW. Arrive here to watch the sky change color as the sun dips below the horizon at 17:56.

Head down to Larus for dinner. This restaurant is open until 23:30 and serves a weekly dinner menu on weekdays. It is a 14 minute walk from the anchor, making it an easy post-sunset destination.
Local tip
The 8E bus from Ferenciek tere takes about 15-20 minutes to reach Korompai utca. Check the route for return trips after dinner.
Check before you go
- Sas-hegyi Visitor Center is open Tue Fri-Sun 10:00-18:00 from 1 Mar-1 Oct. On 15 October it is open until 18:00, so you can visit before or after sunset.
