    Gellért Hill

Take the trolley from Keleti pályaudvar and walk up to Gellért Hill. This is a 49-minute walk from the Central European Dance Theatre, so leave early to beat the heat and crowds. Arrive at the summit with plenty of time to find your spot.

    Gellért Hill

Find a seat on the hill facing WSW. The sun sets toward the WSW, so you will have a clear view of the light fading over the city. This is the peak moment for the evening view.

    Prezent

Walk down the hill (6 minutes) to Prezent. It is open until 19:00, so you can grab a small souvenir or just browse the sustainable local goods while the city lights begin to twinkle.

  4. 17:19

    Aranyszarvas Restaurant

Head to Aranyszarvas Restaurant (9-minute walk from the hill area). It is open from 11:00, so it is ready for dinner. Order traditional Hungarian cuisine in the Deer House. The atmosphere is historic and warm, perfect for after dark.

  5. 18:19

    Aranyszarvas Restaurant

Finish your meal and stay for a drink. The restaurant is open until 22:00, giving you time to enjoy the evening ambiance before heading back.

Local tip
