    Budaörsi repülőtér légvédelmi bázisának romjai

Walk to the ruins of the Budaörs air defense base. These remnants from the 1940s, known locally as the Horthy villa, feature terraces and cellars carved into the rock. Arrive here to find a quiet spot and watch the sky change color.

  3. 16:30

    Budaörsi repülőtér légvédelmi bázisának romjai

Stay for the sunset. As the sun dips toward the WSW, the stone structures catch the final golden light. This is the perfect moment to take in the history and the view.

  4. 17:00

    Hollósy Confectionery

End the evening at Hollósy Confectionery. It is a short walk from the ruins and offers a cozy atmosphere for a final coffee or hot drink as the night settles in.

Local tip

The ruins are open access, but check the weather. The view is best when the sky is clear. If you prefer a sit-down meal instead of cake, Mici's Restaurant is also very close to the ruins and serves traditional local cuisine until 22:00.
