Walk to the Androscoggin River Bicycle Path. Find a granite bench facing west. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows across the water as the light fades.

Local tip
The parking area at the path opens half an hour before sunrise and closes half an hour after sunset. Plan your arrival accordingly if you are driving.
