    Vessel & Vine

Grab a glass of wine and a small plate at Vessel & Vine. The vintage aesthetic and relaxed vibe set the perfect tone for the evening ahead. Check that it is open, as it closes at 22:00 on weekdays.

  2. 16:02

    Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum

Walk three minutes from the anchor to Hubbard Hall. This is the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum, but you are here for the view. Head outside to catch the final moments of daylight.

  3. 16:27

    Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The light fades quickly in winter, so stay put for the full effect as the sky shifts from gold to deep blue.

  4. 16:47

    The Gelato Fiasco

End the night with a walk to The Gelato Fiasco. After the crisp air, warm up with artisan-style gelato made from traditional Italian recipes. It is open until 23:00, so you have plenty of time.

Local tip

The walk between Vessel & Vine and the museum is short, but the path from the museum to the gelato shop is longer. Plan your pace so you arrive at the gelato shop well before closing.
