Position yourself at the Brownsville Event Center Running Trail. Look west-southwest to catch the sun breaking over the horizon. The trail offers an unobstructed view of the sunrise.

Head back to the Event Center grounds. The main ballroom and rooms are not yet open for visitors, but the exterior spaces and the resaca trail are accessible for a post-sunrise stroll.
