Grab a coffee or pastry to go. The café is open late enough in the evening to prepare you for the walk.

Walk to Scarborough Park. This is the only riverside spot in Briarcliff with views across to the Palisades. Arrive here before the sun dips below the horizon to watch the sky change over the water.

Head to Dive Oyster House for dinner. It is open late and offers a sizable happy hour menu if you arrive early, or full service as the evening settles in. Reservations are usually not necessary.

End the night at 105-Ten Bar & Grill. Enjoy a drink in a space with moody lighting and upscale appetizers. It is open until 21:30 on weekdays, or 22:00 on weekends.
Local tip
Scarborough Park is a small patch of green, so it can get crowded with other sunset watchers. Get there with plenty of time to secure a good spot near the benches.
