Grab a sandwich and a coffee to go from the deli counter. The service is fast, and the outdoor seating is available if you want to eat quickly before heading out.
15:51
Start your walk from Trump National Golf Club. Head west toward the Hudson River. The path is unpaved and follows the historic Croton Aqueduct, offering a quiet, green corridor away from traffic.
16:31
Arrive at Scarborough Park. This is the only riverside spot in Briarcliff with direct views across the Hudson to the Palisades. Settle in on a bench as the light begins to soften. The views are particularly gorgeous at sunset.
17:06
Head back toward downtown for a post-sunset drink. Jaipore Xpress is a small BYOB Indian eatery with friendly servers and free rice refills. It is a cozy, low-key spot to end the evening.
Local tip
Scarborough Park is small, so arrive early to secure a good bench facing the river. The walk from the golf club is about 35 minutes one way, but you can shorten it by starting closer to the aqueduct trail if you prefer.
