Start with a pint at the beer hall. The massive space has all major Harpoon varieties on tap, plus soft pretzels to keep you going. It is open until 23:00 on Saturdays, so you have plenty of time before the sun goes down.
20:09
Walk to the pavilion. The cool breeze rolling in off the ocean will start to pick up as the light changes. Find a spot where you can see the water and the sky shifting color.
20:19
Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WNW at this time of year, painting the harbor in warm light. The acoustics of the venue are not perfect, but the view more than makes up for it.
20:49
End with fresh seafood. Walk just one minute to the lobster place. It is open until 21:00 on Saturdays, making it the perfect late spot for starters and mains after the sun has set.
Local tip
The beer hall serves soft pub pretzels with dipping sauces to help sop up the alcohol. The pavilion can get chilly in the evening, so bring a layer.
