Grab a drink and some seafood at La Gaviota. It is a short walk from the botanical garden area and stays open late, so you can settle in comfortably before heading out.
17:23
Walk to the Tordera River Estuary. The access is via the promenade or the road near the beach. Head to the bird observatory near the lagoon to watch the water and sky change color from a safe distance.
17:43
Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting a final glow over the estuary and the adjacent protected fauna area.
18:13
Stay a while longer as the light fades. The grained sand beach next to the protected area is the only place in Blanes where nudism is accepted, offering a quiet end to the evening if you wish to stroll along the shore.
Local tip
The estuary and adjacent beach are forbidden for general access to protect fauna. Use the bird observatory for viewing. Check opening hours for La Gaviota as they may vary by season.
