Timeline

  1. 16:54

    Camp Naco

Drive west of Bisbee, south of Hwy 92, to Camp Naco. The fort sits quietly against the fading light. While most buildings are behind a chain link fence due to vandalism, the structure is clearly visible from the road. Arrive early to secure a good vantage point and stretch your legs before the light changes.

  2. 17:39

    Camp Naco

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light at 17:03 will warm the historic ruins just before the sun disappears at 17:39. This is the perfect moment to take in the quiet atmosphere of the only remaining fort on the US-Mexico border.

  3. 18:09

    Camp Naco

Head back toward Bisbee as darkness falls. Check the route for the drive back to town to find a place to eat and drink after dark.
