Museum of the Jewellery Quarter
Tour the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. Arrive at opening to beat the crowds and see the abandoned workshop in its original state. The guided tour lasts about an hour.
11:15
Walk twelve minutes to Rectory Bar & Restaurant for lunch. It is a stylish gastropub with a fabulous reputation for food. The vibrant bar is open late, but the lunch menu offers a chance to enjoy quality steaks and fresh fish in a quieter setting.
12:15
Take a short seven-minute walk to browse the Jewellery Quarter shops. This area to the north of the city centre specialises in jewellery and contains many small workshops and retailers. It is the perfect place to see the wider, still working commercial side of the district.
Local tip
The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Check the route for transport if you are not walking from the city centre.
