Pick up a coffee or a light snack at La Lupita. It is a family-run spot known for its tortillas and is just a short walk from the Banana Factory. The shop is open from 11:00 to 22:00, so it will be ready for you.

Walk to the Banana Factory. This former banana warehouse is now a vibrant arts center. Stroll through the galleries and see the Lehigh Valley's only glassblowing studio. The gallery is open from 11AM to 4PM, giving you plenty of time to explore before the light changes.

Head to Sand Island Park. It is only a seven-minute walk north from the Banana Factory. Find a spot along the Lehigh River. On this date, the sun sets toward the WNW, offering a clear view of the golden hour fading into twilight over the water.

End the night at The Funhouse Pub. Located just a block down from Lehigh University, it is a four-minute walk from the park area. It is a great place to grab a beer and listen to local bands. The pub opens at 15:30 and stays open until 02:00, so it will be lively and welcoming.
Local tip
Sand Island Park is a great spot for fishing or just sitting by the river. If you want to extend your walk, Rose Garden Park is further north, but for a sunset plan, keeping it close to the Banana Factory is best.
