Best time: noneAbout 90 min

Timeline

  1. 13:00

    Tierpark

Enter Tierpark. Arriving at 13:00 lets you enjoy the grounds before the afternoon crowds build up. The park feels more like a large nature reserve than a classic zoo, with plenty of space to walk among the animals.

  2. 14:00

    Tierpark Bistro

Walk 12 minutes WSW to Tierpark Bistro for lunch. Order some of the best Döner in the Berlin area. The food is prepared in the German style with Middle Eastern flavors, and the atmosphere is distinctly neighborhood-friendly.

  3. 14:30

    Mokka-Milch-Eiscafé

End your visit with a coffee or ice cream at Mokka-Milch-Eiscafé. It is a 15-minute walk from the bistro. Note that it closes at 18:00, so head there while it is still open.

Local tip

The Tierpark is one of the biggest zoos in Europe, so wear comfortable shoes. The bistro is a popular local spot, so expect a bit of a queue during peak lunch hours.
