Walk to the base of the Siegessäule. Be prepared for 285 steps to the platform at 50.7 m. There is no elevator, so pace yourself. The view from the top is worth the effort.

Local tip
The Siegessäule is closed on December 24. In winter it closes at 17:00 on weekdays and 17:30 on weekends, so arrive early enough to climb before closing.
