Walk to the entrance square of the terminal building. This is the spot for the monument commemorating the Berlin Airlift. The golden light hits the square perfectly at this time, offering a clear view of the structure before the sun dips below the horizon.

    Lutter & Wegner

Take the U6 from Platz der Luftbrücke or Tempelhof station toward the city center. Arrive at Lutter & Wegner, a historic German restaurant that has been serving Berlin cuisine since 1811. It is open late, making it ideal for an evening meal after dark.

    Borchardt

Finish the evening with a nightcap at Newton Bar. Located near Checkpoint Charlie, this impressive bar is known for its excellent cigar and whiskey selection and is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
