    El Dorado

    Grab a table outside El Dorado for some Spanish steak. The outdoor seating is pleasant in the daytime and it is open from 11:00 on weekdays.

    Zoological Garden

    Walk 12 minutes east to the Zoological Garden. Arrive just as the zoo is settling in for the afternoon, giving you a chance to see the pandas before the crowds build up.

    Theater des Westens

    Return to the Theater des Westens. Use the U+S Zoologischer Garten station to get back quickly. Catch the historic facade of this former West Berlin landmark before heading out.

Local tip

The walk between El Dorado and the Zoo is short and direct. If you prefer a different cuisine, Repke Spätzlerei is also nearby and open at this hour.
