Timeline
11:00
Arrive at the Adventure Playground as it opens. The space is a unique "junkyard" where kids can build with real tools, paint, and play in the mud. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind ruining. Note that tools are collected 30 minutes before closing and the zipline is taken down 15 minutes before closing, so arrive early to make the most of the play time.
12:00
Walk 23 minutes east to Aquatic Park. This large park features a lagoon for boating, walking and biking trails, and reservable picnic areas. It is a great place to stretch your legs, let the kids run around, and enjoy the bay views after the structured play at the playground.
12:30
Walk 4 minutes west to Vik's Chaat Corner for lunch. This inexpensive Indian restaurant serves authentic food in a converted warehouse. It is open for lunch from 11:00 to 14:30 on weekdays and 11:00 to 19:30 on weekends, making it a perfect spot for a hearty meal after your park visit.
Local tip
The Adventure Playground is free for up to four children with parents. If you have more than four children, there is a fee. Always check the weather, as the playground closes for rain.
