    Brushytten

  2. 14:36

    Blåmanen

Head up to the summit of Blåmanen. The walk from the café is short, and you will arrive with enough time to find a good spot on the 551-metre peak.

  3. 16:06

    Blåmanen

Watch the sun set toward the SW. The golden light begins around 14:28, leading into the sunset at 16:06. The view from Blåmanen offers a unique perspective of the city, being east of Fløyen.

  4. 16:51

    Rundemanen

Walk north to the summit of Rundemanen. It is only a 22-minute walk from Blåmanen. This 568-metre peak is another of the Seven Mountains and provides a different angle of the city as the evening settles.

Local tip

The sun sets toward the SW on this date, so face that direction from Blåmanen for the best view. Rundemanen is north of Blåmanen, making for a pleasant loop.
