    Royal Victoria Park

    Walk seven minutes SSW to Royal Victoria Park. Find a spot in the north-western corner to watch the sun set toward the SW.

    The Star Inn

    Head back toward town (23 minutes NW walk from the park, or check the route) to The Star Inn. It is a genuine locals' pub with wooden benches and old coin games, open until 21:30.

    The Raven

    Finish the evening at The Raven near Royal Victoria Park. Order a hearty pie 'n' mash and try your hand at one of their less traditional board games in the upstairs bar.
