Pick up your permit and gate key from the Barraba Cafe. You need these to access the track. The cafe is at 102 Queen Street, 48 km west of town along Trevallyn Road and Lindsay Road.

Drive the 28 km along Lindsay Road to the locked gate. Enter the park and park your vehicle. If you are on foot or mountain bike, begin your ascent now to reach a good vantage point before the light fades.
