Stop at Barraba Cafe for a light meal or snack. Their fresh salads, wraps, or fish & chips are perfect for a pre-sunset bite, and they serve coffee and cold drinks if you need a caffeine boost before the walk.

Walk up to Adams Lookout. It offers clear views overlooking Barraba and Barraba Station. Arrive here well before the sun dips below the horizon so you can find a comfortable spot and watch the golden light begin to fade.

Head down to the Barraba Bowling Club for a post-sunset drink. It is a short walk from the lookout, and you can settle in with a beverage while the evening settles over the town.
Local tip
The walk from the cafe to the lookout is a gentle climb. The Bowling Club is open until 21:30 on weekdays and 23:00 on weekends, so you have plenty of time to linger after the sun goes down.
