Walk about 1 km west from the restaurant area to Samnang Tasok Temple. This large satellite temple is covered in vines and jungle, featuring distinctive Bayon-style face towers. Use the walking path or a bicycle to get there.

Position yourself at Banteay Chhmar Baray. From this spot, 2786 meters away, the temple sits directly in the line of sight of the setting sun on the chosen dates. The sun sets toward the WSW, aligning perfectly with the temple structure.
