    National Gallery

Head straight to the National Gallery as it opens at 09:00. The building is small and compact, allowing you to see the permanent displays and modern exhibitions without feeling rushed. It is quietest right at opening, before the midday rush.

    Ethos

Walk ten minutes to Ethos for a long, leisurely lunch. This institution serves excellent vegan and vegetarian Thai and international cuisine. It is a calm spot with table and floor seating, perfect for digesting the morning's art and avoiding the heat.

    Santichaiprakan Park

Stroll ten minutes north to Santichaiprakan Park. This small green space offers a great view of the Chao Phraya River and the modern Rama VIII suspension bridge. The river breeze provides a welcome cool down after your meal.
