Timeline

    Ka-nom

Grab a warm egg tart. Ka-nom serves Macau-style pastries that are perfect for a quick bite before the evening chill sets in. The shop is open and ready for you.

  2. 16:39

    Queen Savang Vadhana Museum

Walk to the Queen Savang Vadhana Museum. This oasis of silence behind Siam Paragon was the residence of Queen Savang Vadhana and later Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Explore the building she turned into a museum to honour her grandmother’s contributions. The museum is open until 16:00, so you have plenty of time to browse before the evening rush.

  3. 18:09

    Queen Savang Vadhana Museum

Stay in the museum’s garden or near the entrance. The sun sets toward the WSW. From this location, you can watch the golden light fade and the sky turn deep blue over the city skyline. It is a moment of stillness in the heart of the shopping district.

  4. 18:39

    Somboon Seafood

End the evening with a proper meal. Head to Somboon Seafood for their specialty curry crab. It is open late, so you can enjoy a relaxed dinner after the sunset has passed.

Local tip

The museum is only open Friday and Saturday. If you are visiting on another day, check the route to a nearby open cultural spot, but the sunset viewing spot remains the same.
