Timeline
08:00
Stop for a quick breakfast at Sindang Reret. This Sundanese restaurant is just a three-minute walk from Gasibu Park and opens at 08:00, making it the perfect first stop to grab a warm meal before heading to the park.
08:25
Walk to Gasibu Park. The large lawn square is ideal for a quiet stroll around the green space and all the way towards Monju (Monumen Perjuangan), some 500 metres away. The morning light is soft and the area is relatively empty before the midday rush.
09:15
Take a break at Yoghurt Cisangkuy. Located just six minutes from the park, this café serves fresh yogurt with fresh fruits. It is a very suitable resting place after walking in the hot weather.
09:40
Return to Gasibu Park for a final look. The square is a fairground on Sunday, so if you are visiting on a weekday, you will enjoy the open green space without the noise. If it is Sunday, the fairground adds a lively local atmosphere to your walk.
Local tip
Check the route if you need to get back to your accommodation after the park. Sindang Reret is open Mo-Su 08:00-22:00, and Yoghurt Cisangkuy is open Mo-Su 08:00-20:30, so this timing works for any day of the week.
